During Nerdist’s latest podcast, CEO and president of Gearbox Software Randy Pitchford revealed some new interesting information about the future plans of his company, as well as DLCs for Aliens: Colonial Marines and Borderlands 2.
According to Pitchford, new DLCs for Aliens: Colonial Marines and Borderlands 2 are coming.
Not only that, but the next game of Gearbox will be a new IP for next-gen platforms. Pitchford didn’t reveal much about it, and we don’t have any ETA for when it will be announced. Pitchford also talked about other topics, such as the start of Gearbox and how Sony’s PS4 impressed him.
As Pitchford said:
“In our case especially, we are not launching any new full products for the current gen again. So we’ve launched the last of our current gen products and everything we’ve got in development is for next gen. We have some things that we are supporting for current gen, like there will be DLC for both of our most recent games for the current gen that are still to come.”
So there you have it, more DLC for Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines (as those two were the most recent games of Gearbox).
