Modder ‘Blabit’ has released a new mod for Resident Evil 2 Remake that allows you to play as Rebecca Chambers. Rebecca Chambers was one of the members in the first Resident Evil game, though she also appeared in other parts like Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 6.
Her “custom” Resident Evil 2 Remake appearance is based on her Resident Evil 0 HD 3D model. This 3D character swapper supports both hair physics and facial animations. Furthermore, her outfit is based on this concept art.
I’m pretty sure that Rebecca has some fans out there so if you are one of them, you’ll be pleased with this mod. Unfortunately, and like all 3D character swappers, this one does not change Claire’s voice. Still, it’s a cool mod that some Resident Evil fans will find interesting.
In order to play as Rebecca, you’ll have to install the mod (duh) and then select Claire’s Noir Costume.
To install it, you’ll have to download it from here and place the file to …\Mod Manager\Games\RE2R\Mods folder. Do note that you’ll need FluffyQuack‘sĀ Mod Manager, otherwise you won’t be able to play with it.
Below you can find a video showcasing this mod in action. As you can see, Rebecca’s facial animations and hair work perfectly, and there aren’t any visual glitches.
Enjoy!
