Arkane has revealed the official PC system requirements for its upcoming FPS game, Redfall, which appear to be reasonable. Well, aside from the storage as the game will require 100GB of free hard-disk space.
For its minimum PC requirements, Arkane has listed an Intel Core i5 8400 with 16GB of RAM and an AMD RX580 or an NVIDIA GTX1070. Apparently, presumably for Low settings, the game will run fine on GPUs with 6GB of VRAM.
Arkane recommends using an Intel Core i7 9700 or an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X with 16GB and an AMD Radeon RX 5700, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080, or an Intel ARC GPU. Moreover, the recommended settings are for GPUs with 8GB of VRAM.
Lastly, for Ultra Settings, Arkane suggests using an AMD RX6800XT or an NVIDIA GeForce RTX3080. And while the CPU requirements are similar to the recommended specs, Arkane suggests using 32GB of system RAM.
Unfortunately, Arkane has not listed the graphics settings, resolution and framerates that these PC specs target. My guess is that the Ultra specs are for Ultra settings and 60fps (though I’m not quite sure about the resolution).
Bethesda will release Redfall on May 2nd. The game will be also using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Furthermore, Redfall will support NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 tech at launch. The team also plans to add some Ray Tracing effects via a post-launch update.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
