Modders ‘Cris’ and ‘Albert’ have released a brand new version of their amazing HD Project mod for Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil 4 HD Project Release 3 features 28GB of new high quality textures and 3D models, as well as corrections to lighting and shadows.
Those interested can download the mod from here. Players should also apply the 4GB patch tool which will alleviate random crashes they may experience.
Furthermore, the modders have included a few new gradient files – which are optional – that replace the original color filters, and you can change the color filters value in the Video Settings menu. The new “1” option is an attempt to emulate the Gamecube color scheme displayed on a TV. The new “2” is a cold filter and the new “3” is a warm filter. Last but not least, the new “4” emulates the yellowish/reddish tone that’s been removed in lots of areas of the game.
