Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Village has shipped 5 million copies worldwide on all platforms. Similarly, Bandai Namco revealed that Tales of Arise has sold 1.5 million copies.
Representing the eighth main entry in the series, Resident Evil Village is the sequel to Resident Evil 7 biohazard. As Capcom noted, RE Village features a higher degree of action and even more expansive, highly-engaging gameplay.
In the game, players take on the role of protagonist Ethan Winters. Players will delve into a new kind of survival horror set in a mysterious, icy village. The game uses the RE Engine and features real-time ray tracing effects. Be sure to read ourĀ PC Performance Analysis and our PC Review.
On the other hand, Tales of Arise is an action RPG that is using Unreal Engine 4 and promises to feature a high-quality animation system. The game also comes with a dynamic action RPG battle system that is mostly faithful to the series. You can also read our PC Performance Analysis for this game here.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
