Psyonix has announced that Rocket League has reached 30 million players. Do note, however, that this figure (total players) includes free copies given via PS Plus and Steam’s free weekend, as well as split-screen players.

Rocket League is a futuristic sports-action game that equips players with booster-rigged vehicles that can be crashed into balls for incredible goals or epic saves across multiple, highly-detailed arenas.
Using an advanced physics system to simulate realistic interactions, Rocket League relies on mass and momentum to give players a complete sense of intuitive control in this unbelievable, high-octane re-imagining of association football.
Last month, Psyonix revealed that the game had almost 29 million players. In other words, the team managed to increase its playerbase by one million in just a month.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
