Now here is something really interesting. Rockstar North is currently looking for Game Testers to play test their games on a 12 month contract, paying around £14,000. Rockstar has currently in the works only GTA V, so we can safely assume that GTA V will be among those games that will enter the beta-testing phase. This could very well mean that the Q&A phase of GTA V is about to begin, a sign that GTA V’s development is coming along nicely and we should expect more news about it in the coming months.
As the job application reads:
“Rockstar North is looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our QA team in Edinburgh.
Successful applicants will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to observe attention to detail. You will have good general computer skills and be a confident learner working with word processing, databases and spreadsheets.”

John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
