Back in June 2018, the LinkedIn profile of one of Rockstar’s employees hinted at Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to the PC. What’s interesting here is that the employee updated his profile and removed the PC mention when the story got viral. And today, another Rockstar employee has listed the PC for Red Dead Redemption 2.
According to Nan Ma’s LinkedIn profile, who was Rockstar Toronto’s former physics programmer, Red Dead Redemption 2 was developed for PS4, Xbox One and the PC. This obviously hints at a PC release for this latest Rockstar game, though 2K Games has not announced anything yet.
We’ve said it numerous times and we’ll say it again; it’s not a matter of “if” but a matter of “when” Red Dead Redemption 2 will come to the PC. And while the recent PC rumour was fake, we are certain that 2K Games still plans to release this game on our platform.
It will be interesting to see whether the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will come out prior to a – possible – next-gen release. Will we see Red Dead Redemption 2 on the PC before PS5 and the new Xbox consoles come out, or will 2K Games pull another GTA5 on us.
Stay tuned for more!
