Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is coming to PC on October 24th, will have Denuvo, PC Requirements revealed

Square Enix has announced that Romancing SaGa 2, the hit RPG that sold more than 1 million copies upon its 1993 release in Japan, will return on October 24th.

Developed by the team behind Trials of Mana, this ground-up remake and standalone story will feature modern visuals, reworked strategic gameplay and various other enhancements that will delight longtime SaGa fans and newcomers alike.

In Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, players will embark on a multi-generation adventure to protect and expand their empire. After the player’s homeland is attacked by one of the legendary Seven Heroes, a branching story of vengeance and redemption will unfold where the player must fight to protect everything they hold dear. With the free-form scenario system the SaGa franchise is known for, the player’s choices will impact how the story develops, including who inherits the imperial throne with each successive generation.

Featuring both the original and rearranged compositions by the legendary Kenji Ito (known for his work on the SaGa franchise, notably SaGa Frontier and the Mana series), Japanese and English voiceovers, the timeline system, which adds a new twist to the strategic battles, new game mechanics and more, Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is a must-play for RPG enthusiasts.

Square Enix has also shared the game’s official PC system requirements. According to the PC specs, PC gamers will at least need an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or an Intel Core i3-6100 with 8GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 460 or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950. These minimum PC requirements are for gaming at 1080p with 30fps.

For gaming at 1080p/60fps, you’ll need an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or an Intel Core i5-6400 with 8GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 570 or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060.

Finally, the game’s Steam store page has confirmed the presence of Denuvo. Yep, this is another game from SE that will use the Denuvo anti-tamper tech at launch.

Enjoy!
