GamePodunk has spotted an interesting pre-order at Zavvi. According to the online store, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will be released on the PC and is already available for pre-order. The game is priced at 46.85 euros and Zavvi promises to change its price in case they reduce it (for those who decide to pre-order it).
This is really fishy, as Konami has not been officially unveiled the PC version yet. The official trailer of MGS: GZ featured – at its end – only the X360 and PS3 logos, and the only indication we got for the PC version was the fact that the TGS2012 tech demo ran on a PC.
Our guess is that Zavvi decided to go ahead and create a placeholder for a possible PC version of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.
On the other hand, FOX Engine will be a multi-platform engine, suggesting that this new MGS game could actually hit our platform. After all, we’ve seen a number of MGS titles coming to the PC in the past.
All in all, take it with a grain of salt for the time being. Special thanks to our reader ‘Gianluca Manocchio’ for informing us!
