NetEase Games has released the story trailer for its new 2.5D action platformer, Rusty Rabbit. At first, Rusty Rabbit looks a lot like F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch. However, this rabbit game might end up being even better in many ways.
For starters, the game is written by Gen Urobuchi, the man behind Fate/Zero, Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Psycho-Pass. Psycho-Pass, in particular, is one of my favorite animes. Well, that’s if we only count its first season. If you are fans of the sci-fi and cyberpunk genres, I highly recommend watching it. Just stick with its first season and don’t bother with the movies or the other seasons.
Not only that but the main protagonist is voiced by Takaya Kuroda. That’s the same actor who voiced Kazuma Kiryu in the Yakuza series. And while at first it feels weird hearing a rabbit with the voice of Kiryu, it’s kind of a welcome addition.
In Rusty Rabbit, players will experience exhilarating action and mystery as they dig ever deeper into giant ruins. Players will explore the ruins by smashing through blocks, and loot any treasure that awaits. The game will also have RPG-like progression and customization systems. As such, you will be able to upgrade your mech with parts and materials collected from within the ruins.
NITRO PLUS has also shared the game’s official PC system requirements. PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500 with 8GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon RX 470. The game will also require 25GB of free disk space.
The devs recommend using an Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700.
Finally, NetEase will release Rusty Rabbit on September 24th.
Enjoy!
