Croteam has released a new update for Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope that adds online two-player co-op. In addition, this update adds two new difficulty settings. These new difficulty settings are tourist and serious, and both of them are available in single player and coop mode.
The new co-op mode puts players side by side inside the VR simulation of Sam’s combat logs with each player controlling one of two virtual-but-deadly versions of Sam Stone to deliver double the damage on Mental’s hordes of enemies. Players can jump in and start doling out destruction via either HTC Vive or Oculus Rift or a combination of both.
This update also comes with various bug fixes and various performance optimizations.
Croteam has also released a new set of screenshots and a brand new trailer for Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope’s co-op mode that can be viewed below.
Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
