Last week, Ys Net revealed that Shenmue 3 would not be present at this year’s E3. And today, Yu Suzuki revealed that the game has been delayed to the second half of 2018.
As Yu Suzuki said during a new video update:
“I know you are all eagerly anticipating the release of Shenmue III, however, we unfortunately must delay its release. We are moving ahead with a plan to release the game in the second half of 2018. Details will be revealed in the backer report later this month.”
The good news is that Ys Net has discovered new possibilities and expressions using new technology, and that the game has become bigger and more beautiful than before.
Here is hoping that Shenmue 3 will be worth the wait!
