Ascendant Studios has announced that its single-player magic FPS, Immortals of Aveum, has been delayed by a month. Originally planned for a July 20th release, the game will now come out on August 22nd.
According to the team, this extra month will give it time to further polish the game, and finish optimizing all platforms. Basically, it’s the exact same excuse we’ve been hearing in all of the recent video-game delays.
In Immortals of Aveum, players will experience this visceral and cinematic, story-driven game through the eyes of Jak. Jak will join an elite order of battlemages, master all three colors of magic – blue, green, and red – and decimate legions of enemies with clever chained attacks and well-timed counters.
The game will be using Unreal Engine 5, and will take advantage of both Nanite and Lumen.
Lastly, you can find here its official PC system requirements.
