It appears that a pre-alpha dev build of EA’s upcoming skateboard game, skate., has been leaked online. This dev build is from September 2021, has major bugs and glitches, and was never meant for external use.
As Full Circle stated:
“We’re aware of an earlier version of the game that has been distributed without our authorization. This build is from September 2021 and was never intended for external use. While we understand you’re excited to get into the game, we encourage you to be careful when downloading files from unknown sources (and remind you of the potential consequences of breaking EA’s Terms of Service).”
My guess is that the pre-alpha gameplay video we shared back in April is from that build.
Players can sign up for skate. insider playtesting here as EA continues to invite more and more players into the game throughout the year.
Naturally, be extra careful when downloading leaked builds. After all, most of them are usually fake and could compromise your PC systems. And since the game is currently in a very early development phase, it’s not really worth the risk.
Lastly, I’ve included below the latest gameplay trailer that EA shared last month.
Stay tuned for more!
