Bethesda has just announced that Skyrim’s first DLC, codenamed Dawnguard, will be coming to X360 this Summer. In addition, the company has also announced that more information and details will be revealed at this year’s E3. A lot of players got confused though. Was this an X360 exclusivity that would not hit all other platforms? And why didn’t Bethesda announce it for PC and PS3? Well, good news PC and PS3 fans as this DLC will also hit those platforms at a later date.
As a Bethesda’s spokesperson revealed, the first two add-on content drops for Skyrim will be releasing exclusively on Xbox 360 before they are available anywhere else. This basically means that Dawnguard will indeed hit PC and PS3 at a later date. To be more precise, the DLC will hit PC and PS3 30 days after its X360 release. It sucks, we know. But think of the positive side; players of those formats will still be able to enjoy it. Better late than never, right?
Here is the official artwork for Skyrim’s DLC. Enjoy!
