We bet that most of you are waiting patiently for the official release of the 1.4 patch for Skyrim. Bethesda promised to deliver both this patch and the Creation Kit in January and, as you can notice, the company won’t be able to fulfill its promise. No reason to panic though, as the PC version of the 1.4 patch will hopefully hit Steam this week, with the Creation Kit to follow.
Bethesda has also released new beta patch for Skyrim which addresses a bug, related to hitching between cell boundaries.
Last but not least, the highly anticipated patch for consoles will be sent to the console manufacturers this week, provided it gets released on the PC. This means that it will take more time to arrive, as both Sony and Microsoft will have to certify it before releasing it.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
