Rebellion has announced that the next game in the Sniper Elite series, Sniper Elite: Resistance, will use Denuvo. Sniper Elite: Resistance is set to release on PC on January 30th, 2025. Moreover, we got some early minimum system requirements. So, let’s take a look at them.
The story of Sniper Elite: Resistance runs in parallel with Sniper Elite 5. In this game, you play as Harry Hawker. Harry is an agent of the Special Operations Executive (SOE). And, for the first time, Harry will take the lead as he uncovers a dangerous new “Wunderwaffe” weapon.
Sniper Elite: Resistance will keep its third-person perspective, and promises to stay faithful to the sniping, stealth and tactical mechanics of its predecessor.
To run it, PC gamers will at least need an Intel CPU Core i5-9400f or equivalent with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce 2060 GPU.
From what I know, Sniper Elite 5 still uses Denuvo. Let’s also not forget that this game came out in 2022. So, contrary to other devs, I’m almost certain that Rebellion does not have any plans to remove it from its Sniper Elite games. That’s a bummer but hey, it is what it is.
My guess is that Rebellion will reveal the final PC specs once we get closer to the game’s release. So, stay tuned for more.
