Sonic Frontiers will officially release on November 8th, however, its Nintendo Switch version has already been leaked online. Not only that, but both the yuzu and the Ryujinx Nintendo Switch emulators can run it.
According to reports, these Nintendo Switch emulators cannot fully emulate this game yet. However, it appears to be playable from what we can see below.
YouTube’s ‘ProDaGamer’ has shared the following video. In this video, we get to see Sonic Frontiers running on PC via both yuzu and Ryujinx.
In order to capture this footage, ProDaGamer used an Intel i7 10700f with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and 32GB of RAM.
As we can see, the game runs with 30fps on both emulators, however, there are numerous graphical glitches. For an unreleased game, though, it’s pretty impressive that yuzu and Ryujinx can even run it.
Lastly, I’ve also included below the game’s latest official gameplay trailer!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
