SEGA announced that their latest free-to-play online action adventure game, Spiral Knights, is currently available on Steam. The game features a constantly changing world, retro style graphics, intuitive pick-up-and-play controls that include both mouse-only and gamepad control scheme, great matchmaking for co-op and gear and weapons upgradeables.
Haruki Satomi, Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA of America said:
“Joining the prestigious library of games on Steam doesn’t just mean that Spiral Knights is now available to a wider audience, but also that players now have the added support of a fantastic, deeply-established gaming community. We know the millions of new adventurers who can now easily access the game through Steam will enjoy it every bit as much as our existing players do.”
Daniel James, CEO of Three Rings added:
“A game with strong co-operative and social elements like Spiral Knights is, put simply, a great fit for Steam. Beyond the convenience of automatic game updates and easy Energy purchases through Steam, our players will be able to enjoy their time in the Clockworks with their existing Friends List members, aided by built-in voice chat and instant messaging.”
Spiral Knights is free-to-play, so be sure to install and play it from its official Steam Page.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
