1047 Games has just announced Splitgate 2, which will be coming to PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in 2025. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared a cinematic trailer for it. Moreover, it revealed the game’s official PC system requirements. So, let’s take a look at them.
Splitgate 2 is a 4v4 free-to-play shooter that allows players to use portals. Players will choose their faction, customize their weapons, master their portal skills, and play with friends as they compete for glory in a galactic arena.
Players will be able to dash around the battlefield as the agile Aeros, control the chaos as the tactical and time-manipulating Meridian, or run in guns blazing with Sabrask’s raw power.
To run the game, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3-6100 or Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 470. The devs recommend using an Intel Core i5-6600K or Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400 with 12GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580.
Sadly, we don’t know the resolution, settings and framerate that these PC specs target. Still, it’s obvious that the game will run on a wide range of PC configurations. Or at least that’s what the devs imply.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
