Square Enix has just removed the Denuvo anti-tamper tech from the Legend of Mana remaster. Legend of Mana came out on PC in June 2021, meaning that it took the publisher six months in order to remove it.
Legend of Mana features remastered graphics, rearranged music and more. In this game, players will journey to bring towns, dungeons, and other lands to life, while battling fearsome monsters to find the mystical Mana Tree.
Legend of Mana is an action RPG that originally came out on the first Playstation in 1999. It is the fourth game in the Mana series, following 1995’s Trials of Mana. Set in a high fantasy universe, the game follows an unnamed hero as they restore the land of Fa’Diel by creating the world around them and completing a number of interrelated quests in order to restore the Tree of Mana.
Lastly, I suggest reading Nick’s review for this game.
John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
