Following the removal of Denuvo from VALKYRIE ELYSIUM, Square Enix has also removed the anti-tamper tech from TRIANGLE STRATEGY.
TRIANGLE STRATEGY came out on PC in October 2022. In other words, it took the publisher around six months in order to remove Denuvo.
For those unaware, TRIANGLE STRATEGY is a tactics RPG from the team behind Octopath Traveler. Moreover, the game features HD-2D graphics, similar to those of Octopath Traveler.
For the record, Square Enix has removed Denuvo from three games these past couple of months. These three games are The Diofield Chronicle, VALKYRIE ELYSIUM and TRIANGLE STRATEGY.
Square Enix isn’t the only company that has removed Denuvo from its older titles. For instance, Capcom has removed it from Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. Then we have Warner Bros who removed it from Mortal Kombat 11. And lastly, Bandai Namco and 2K Games have removed it from NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER and The Quarry, respectively!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
