Square Enix has released a new patch that removed the Denuvo anti-tamper tech from VALKYRIE ELYSIUM. VALKYRIE ELYSIUM is a third-person action RPG that came out in November 2022.
In other words, it took Square Enix around four months to remove Denuvo from VALKYRIE ELYSIUM. It’s also worth noting that the game has Mixed Reviews on Steam. So, perhaps that was another reason why the publisher decided to remove the anti-tamper tech?
We should also note that Square Enix has been constantly removing Denuvo from its older games. Earlier this month, the company removed the anti-tamper tech from The Diofield Chronicle.
Square Enix isn’t the only company that has removed Denuvo from its older titles. For instance, Capcom has removed it from Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. Then we have Warner Bros who removed it from Mortal Kombat 11. And lastly, Bandai Namco and 2K Games have removed it from NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER and The Quarry, respectively!
