Electronic Arts has announced that the open beta phase for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will begin on October 6th. This open beta phase will last until October 9th, and will allow gamers play across iconic planets and into the far reaches of space.
Going into more details, the game’s open beta will include Naboo: Theed in Galactic Assault, in which players can join Republic clone troopers and Separatist battle droids in a wild melee on the streets surrounding the royal palace, where they will take control of some of their favorite heroes.
In other words, this will be the exact same map with the one showcased at this year’s E3 event.
Moreover, EA and DICE will be offering Multiplayer Starfighter Assault, in which players will be able to take part in an epic starfighter assault set during the original trilogy era, piloting an assortment of Star Wars’ greatest ships in an objective-based, multi-stage battle.
Naturally, those who pre-order the game will get early access to this open beta (which will be available for them on October 4th).
