We are pretty sure that a lot of you can’t wait to get your hands on the sequel to one of the best Warcraft 3 mods. DOTA 2 will be a standalone game and although we don’t know its exact release date, Steam hinted that the game will actually be released pretty soon.
In today’s news about Steam’s new content system, Valve hinted that DOTA 2 will be soon delivered using it. Which basically hints to a release within the next few months.
Dota 2 is the result of Valve hiring the community developers who built the first DOTA mod and giving them the chance to finally build a full product out of their idea with the help of a professional team of developers and artists at Valve.
