It appears that the official Steam store page for Call of Cthulhu has revealed its release date. According to the store, Cyanide’s Lovecraftian title will be released on October 30th.
Focus Home Interactive has not announced anything yet, however the Steam store page does not usually place any placeholder dates. So yeah, this appears to be the real thing and the publisher will most probably reveal the game’s release date in the coming weeks or days.
Call of Cthulhu is the official videogame inspired by Chaosium’s classic pen and paper RPG, brings you deep into a world of creeping madness and shrouded Old Gods within Lovecraft’s iconic universe.
In Call of Cthulhu players assume the role of private investigator Edward Pierce who is sent to investigate the tragic death of the Hawkins family in their imposing mansion on the isolated Darkwater Island, off the shores of Boston.
“Between unfriendly locals and dubious police reports, it becomes clear there’s more to the case than meets the eye and soon Pierce is plunged into a terrifying world of conspiracies, cultists, and cosmic horrors.”
