Tim Willits has been working for id Software since 1995, when he first impressed the id owners with his Doom levels, which he released for free over the internet. Since then he worked on several games like Quake, Doom and Rage.
After 24 years, I’ve decided to leave id Software after QuakeCon. I’ve been extremely lucky to work with the best people in the industry on truly amazing games. QuakeCon has been an unbelievable part of my journey and I look forward to seeing everyone at the Gaylord Texan. pic.twitter.com/shX5H441py

Now regarding the upcoming Doom Eternal, Willits reassures the fans that he left the game in good hands. Doom Eternal looks freaking fantastic so far and most people who played had only good things to say.
“All of the games currently in development are in very good hands, my departure will not affect any planned releases. id Software is packed full of amazing talent that will continue to develop (long into the future) some of the best shooters in the world.”
Below is the latest trailer in case you missed it.
Doom Eternal is scheduled for release on November 22th.
Thanx PCGamesN
Chris was born in the early 80’s along with the very birth of home gaming. After spending many maaany drachmas on arcades, his father decided to buy him a PC instead of going bankrupt. He lived through the advancing and development of the gaming industry, having played TONS of games on all platforms. He is always honest and will never hesitate to give his true opinion on a game no matter what. Loves stealth games and dislikes microtsansactions, DLC and pre-ordering…who doesn’t after all?!
