Warner Bros has announced that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed by 6 months, and will now release in 2024. According to the publisher, this delay will give Rocksteady enough time to polish it.
Warner Bros was planning to release Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on May 25th, 2023. So, I find it kind of hilarious that it had to delay it six months in order to polish it.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a Games as a Service (GaaS) game. The game relies heavily on weapons, and won’t be focusing on melee combat like the Batman: Arkham games. And, to be honest, this felt like a new Marvel’s Avengers game. Not only that, but its previous gameplay trailer disappointed a lot of players.
If I were a gambling man, I’d say that Warner Bros delayed it so that gamers can somehow forget what they saw back in February. Because, let’s be realistic here, Rocksteady won’t change the game’s core gameplay mechanics!
