A new leak about the story of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League surfaced earlier today. Now the reason I didn’t write an article about this earlier was because I wasn’t so sure whether it was legit or not. However, Rocksteady has just confirmed that this leak is real.
I won’t detail this story leak but I’m certain that most of you will be able to find all the leaked details via a simple Google search. We also won’t allow any leaks in the Comment section. This shouldn’t come as a surprise. Yes, we have an Unrestricted Policy. However, we’ve banned people who shared spoilers of unreleased games. From the get-go, we’ve been against spoilers of unreleased games. So, you should have been aware of this if you’ve been one of our regular readers.
All I’m going to say is that the game’s story will frustrate a lot of fans of the Arkham universe. Or at least that’s the reaction I saw online. So, expect this game to be controversial.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a Games as a Service (GaaS) game with a story campaign. At launch, the game won’t have an offline mode but Rocksteady is looking into adding one via a post-launch update. The game will be also set in the Arkham universe.
Gameplay-wise, Suicide Squad appears to be relying heavily on guns. All characters will be mostly using guns, and not their signature weapons. So, Captain Boomerang will be using rifles and not… you know… boomerangs. In a way, Suicide Squad will be less faithful to its source material than Marvel’s Avengers. Because like it or not, all heroes in Marvel’s Avengers played differently. Iron Man had his suit, Hulk was Hulk, Thor could fly and use his hammer, etc.
Warner Bros will release Suicide Squad: Kills the Justice League on February 2nd, 2024. You can also find here itsĀ PC requirements. Plus, according to reports from its Closed Beta phase, the game will have Ray Tracing effects.
Stay tuned for more!
