Team Meat has just announced that Super Meat Boy has sold over one million copies. Yeap, that lovely indie game proved to be really successful and can be now considered as a platinum game. This is amazing news as Super Meat Boy was one of the best indie platform games of 2010. It took them almost a year to hit that milestone but who really cares.
As the team tweeted a while ago:
“Super Meat Boy past the million sales mark last month! PLATINUM BABY”
Team Meat has also announced that they are now working on the game’s sequel and we seriously can’t wait to see what they have in store for us. Hooray!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
