Supergiant Games, developers of Bastion, have unveiled their next project called Transistor. Transistor is a sci-fi-themed action RPG with an isometric perspective, similar to the one found in Bastion. According to the team, this new title is created in such a way that will seamlessly integrate thoughtful strategic planning into a fast-paced action experience, complete with its signature melding of responsive gameplay and rich atmospheric storytelling. There is a debut trailer of Transistor that can be viewed below, so make sure to give it a go. Unfortunately, Supergiant Games have not unveiled the platforms in which Transistor will come, so hopefully the PC will be among them from the get-go.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
