There is no doubt that the PC version of TEKKEN 7 is a polished product. In fact, the game itself is simply amazing and has been the second top seller on Steam this past week. However, and as with a lot of triple-A titles, this game was also protected by the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. And as you may have expected, the game has already been cracked.
TEKKEN 7 was released on June 2nd and has been cracked in just four days, making it the fastest Denuvo-powered game that has been cracked so far.
Both Resident Evil VII and RiME were cracked in five days, whereas Mass Effect: Andromeda and PREY were cracked in ten days.
As said, TEKKEN 7 is awesome and contrary to the PS4 version, the online mode in the PC version – apart from some “connection lost” issues – works incredibly well.
Here is hoping that Bandai Namco will quickly react to this by removing the Denuvo anti-tamper tech from the game. After all, and given the fact that the game has already been cracked, there is no point at all keeping it. Not only that, but such a move will most probably give a boost to the game’s PC sales!
