Bigben Interactive has announced that the next part in the Test Drive series will be released in March 2012 on current-generation consoles and PC and will be called Test Drive: Ferrari. Although the company hasn’t released any gameplay info, it is safe to say that the game will be based on Ferrari’s cars. We can also assume that this won’t be as open-ended as Eden Games’ Test Drive games.
Rumor has it that Test Drive: FerrariĀ is developed by Slightly Mad Studios, the team behind the Shift series and the upcoming gorgeous-looking PC racing sim, Project CARS. If that’s the case, then Test Drive: Ferrari might be similar in concept to Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed.
In case you were unaware of, Blimey! GamesĀ had a licensed Ferrari title in the works, which was then reportedly held up by legal issues. Blimey! Games was also aquired by Slightly Mad back in 2009. Putting these two together – alongside Ian Bell’s post at NoGripRacing – can obviously give us a insight into this new Test Drive game.
The above are just speculations for the time being, so take them with a grain of salt.
Stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
