The 90’s Arcade Racer is perhaps the racing game we are most looking forward to this year. Even though this title is not as polished as GRID 2 (and does not feature as many shaders as Codemasters’ game), it comes with an amazing art design. It’s also a tribute to the classic SEGA arcade games, and we are big fans of those games. The 90’s Arcade Racer is powered by the Unity engine and Gamereactor interviewed Antonis Pelekanos and Tyrone Rodriguez, the duo responsible for it. Antonis Pelekanos has also revealed that this racing game is planned for a late 2013 release, though there is a high chance that it will get slightly delayed (meaning that we’re looking at a 2014 release). Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
