The Farm 51, the team behind Necrovision, unveiled their upcoming FPS game in Games Day 2012. Their new game will be called ‘The Adventurer’ and is set before World War II. Players will take the role of Victor “Vic” Chandler, who is on the hunt for various mythical artefacts. The Adventurer seems to be an exploration game with lots of secrets, puzzles, and gun battles. The team is currently looking for a publisher and they plan to release the game on PC and X360 this year. PS3 version will follow at a later date.
The Adventurer will feature a unique blend of classical cinema atmosphere of adventure-person shooter action game. The game promises to combine action and exploration – shootings, car chases, puzzles, meaning that there will be a blend of different gameplay styles. Players will be able to avoid the guards left behind by the ancient treasures of the traps and use them to fight the enemies and visit exotic locations, including Egypt, the Arctic and ancient Mayan cities.
The Adventurer promises to come with a story with twists, international conspiracy, espionage, and organizations seeking powerful artifacts, a powerful arsenal of weapons, weapon and skills upgrades, and a Multiplayer mode called ‘Treasure Hunt’.
You can find below a 32 minutes presentation of it from Games Day 2012. Enjoy!
