The biggest Greek gaming event will return for the tenth year this February. And, since we are based in Greece, we felt the need to at least support the event.
The GAMEATHLON powered by Germanos event will begin on February 25th and will last until February 26th. Basically, we are looking at a 48-hour event.
In this event, there will be over 400 PC, consoles, Arcade, Retro and VR stations. Samsung Electronics Hellas will be GAMEATHLON’s Technology Partner, and will present its new Neo QLED gaming TVs, as well as its new Samsung Galaxy S23. CD Media, one of the biggest Greek distributors of both PC and console games, will be also present at this event.
For those that will attend the event, there will also be a cosplay contest. PC/console gamers can also bring their systems in order to create local LANs, and play their favourite games.
From our part, we wish the team behind GAMEATHLON the best of luck!
John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
