Bethesda and Epic Games have announced that The Elder Scrolls Online is currently free to own on Epic Games Store. Until June 27th, PC gamers can visit its EGS and acquire this multiplayer TES game for free.
In The Elder Scrolls Online, players explore a rich, living world with friends or embark upon a solo adventure. Players can enjoy complete control over how their character looks and plays, from the weapons they wield to the skills they learn.
Since this is an online game, players can complete quests with friends, join fellow adventurers to explore dangerous, monster-filled dungeons, or take part in epic PvP battles with hundreds of other players.
The Elder Scrolls Online came out in 2014. So, in theory, the game should have enough free content for everyone. It’s also worth noting that it was one of the first games to support NVIDIA’s DLAA tech.
I was never a big fan of MMOs so this TES game is not my cup of coffee. Still, if you are into this type of games, you can go ahead and get your free copy of The Elder Scrolls Online from here.

John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
