Modder Mancer released a new texture pack for Skyrim. This pack replaces most of the textures in an attempt to get a better looking environment. As the title suggests, Mancer changed the game’s normal maps that are applied to most textures, thus giving them a “surface feeling”. What’s really important here is that Mancer’s pack does not replace those normal maps with others of higher resolution. The sizes of these new normal maps are the same, meaning that there won’t be any performance hit at all while using it.
This is perfect for those seeking better visuals without performance costs.
Those interested can download Mancer’s pack from here and you can find bellow some screenshots – and two comparison shots.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
