The First Berserker Khazan feature-2

The First Berserker Khazan and KARMA: The Dark World will support DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen

NVIDIA has just announced that The First Berserker Khazan and KARMA: The Dark World will support DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen. Moreover, Fatshark released an update for Warhammer 40K: Darktide that adds support for DLSS 4.

Going into more details, PC gamers will be able to use the NVIDIA App to enable DLSS 4 for The First Berserker Khazan and KARMA: The Dark World. In other words, there won’t be an in-game setting for DLSS 4 MFG. At least when they launch.

The First Berserker Khazan is a new Souls-like game that will be released on March 27th. On the other hand, KARMA: The Dark World is a new horror game that will also come out on March 27th. Both of these games are using Unreal Engine 5.

Needless to say, I will test them on the NVIDIA RTX 5090. So, expect some early tech impressions when they come out.

From what I know, NVIDIA will also release a new version of the NVIDIA App. So, I really hope that the green team will implement some improvements to DLSS 4 SR and MFG. As I’ve reported, there are a lot of visual artifacts when using MFG X3 and X4. Moreover, the Transformer Model for DLSS 4 suffers from some ghosting issues. You can easily spot these ghosting issues in both Assassin’s Creed: Shadows and Monster Hunter Wilds.

I also hope that both of these games will support AMD FSR 4.0 and Intel XeSS. Right now, AMD FSR 4.0 is better than FSR 3.1 in pretty much every way. As I said, though, the downside is that it’s only supported by the RX 9000 series GPUs. Thus, owners of the RX 9070 and RX 9070XT GPUs will have to rely on AMD to enable support for them via its Control Panel. The good news is that the override works like a charm, without introducing any issues. So this is at least something positive about it.

Stay tuned for more!
