NIS America has announced that the English version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak will hit Steam on July 5th. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared a new trailer that you can find below.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak is the next part in the Trails series. The AT (Action Time) battle system has been completely revamped, transitioning seamlessly from field battles to turn-based combat. The sixth-generation combat orbment, Xipha, also promises to offer a revolutionary combat experience unique to this iteration of the Trails series.
In addition, the Topic System allows players to gain an advantage in battle by using conversation topics as bargaining chips. These topics can be obtained by interacting with other characters throughout the city.
The game also features the Alignment system, which allows players to change their character’s three unique attributes and influence characteristics such as their status, the forces they fight with (or against), and even how the story unfolds.
The game’s Japanese version is already available on Steam and has Very Positive reviews. Moreover, those that own the Japanese version will get the English version for free when it comes out.
NIS America has also shared the game’s PC system requirements. PC gamers will at least need an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050. The game will also require 11GB of free disk space. The developers recommend using an Intel Core i5-10400 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.
The minimum PC specs will allow you to play at 1080p with 30FPS, on the Performance Graphics Profile. On the other hand, the recommended PC specs are for gaming at 1440p/60FPS on the High Graphics Profile.
