The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will be officially released on September 26th. However, it appears that someone got a copy of it earlier, and has managed to leak its ROM to the Internet. And, to the surprise of no one, the game is already playable on PC via the Nintendo Switch emulator, Ryujinx.
While we won’t be linking to the ROM, if you search, you will find it. Just be careful as there are a lot of fake torrents out there. So, don’t download anything from fishy sources, and don’t install anything that looks suspicious.
At the end of the article, I had originally included a video with the first 8 minutes from it. That gameplay footage was captured on an Intel Core i7 9700F with 32GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 4060. However, the YouTuber has deleted it. So, yeah, that kind of sucks.
Anyway, I’m pretty sure that Nintendo will take down all the leaked videos in the blink of an eye. It’s a bummer. So, sadly, there isn’t any video that we can share right now. Once I find one, I’ll be sure to add it.
You can go ahead and download the latest version of Ryujinx from its official website.
In a way, this latest Zelda game ended up just like Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, Super Mario Wonder and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. All of these games were playable on PC before they were officially released. Not only that but you can enjoy them with higher framerates and 4K on PC. Ironic, isn’t it?
Even though we don’t have Yuzu anymore, Ryujinx can still run unreleased Nintendo Switch games. This shows that Nintendo can’t stop all the Switch emulators. And even if Nintendo somehow takes down Ryujinx, other clones of it will show up online.
I’m also curious to see what will happen with Nintendo Switch 2. Will the Big N make any security improvements? Or will we see an emulator in record time?
And again. We won’t allow download links to the ROM. So, if you share it on the Comments, we’ll delete it. So, don’t act like you haven’t been warned.
Stay tuned for more!
