The official Twitter account for Mafia has tweeted after almost years. The message that the Mafia account has shared is quite simple. However, and after earlier leaks, we can assume that this is a hint for the Definitive Editions of Mafia 2 and Mafia 3.
Family.

Last month, the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee rated Mafia 2 Definitive Edition and Mafia 3 Definitive Edition. So yeah, this tweet is most likely a hint at these new versions of Mafia 2 and Mafia 3.
Now the reason I’ve included the word “remasters” in the title is quite simple. Mafia 2 never came out on current-gen consoles, so we’ll most likely get a remaster. This remaster will most likely have better textures, lighting and some quality of life improvements. On the other hand, we don’t know what the Definitive Edition of Mafia 3 will actually be. Will it have better textures and lighting effects, or will it simply have all the previously released DLCs?
My guess is that 2K Games will officially reveal Mafia 2 Definitive Edition and Mafia 3 Definitive Edition later this month. This is merely a guess, so take it with a grain of salt. However, and since the Twitter account of Mafia is back from the dead, we’ll most likely get an announcement soon.
Stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
