It appears that the uncensored version of Agony, Agony UNRATED, may release on October 31st. Now I’m saying “may” because this version appeared briefly on Steam but has been taken down and cannot be accessed right now.
Originally, the team planned to include the uncensored version exclusively on the PC. Then, it decided to release it via a PC post-launch patch, and then it announced the Unrated version that was supposed to be a standalone product. However, in June 2018 Madmind claimed that this version was cancelled for good due to financial and technical issues.
Agony Unrated was said to feature additional sounds in the game and the cutscenes, additional erotic animations for characters in the backgrounds, high resolution textures and models – without any censorship – all the scenes that have been removed from the standard version of Agony, Agony Mode unlocked from the beginning, additional content for Agony Mode (Setting – The Forest, Boss Fight – Baphomet), Succubus Mode unlocked from the beginning and additional animations for Succubus Mode.
Madmind has not announced anything official yet but we’ll be sure to keep you posted!
UPDATE:
Apparently the link is working fine if you are logged in. So yeah, this unrated version is coming out on October 31st.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
