Epic Games is currently giving away free copies of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Rogue Legacy. From today and until April 14th, PC gamers can visit their EGS pages and acquire their free copies.
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a first-person mystery that focuses on exploration and discovery. The game uses photogrammetry for its environments, and uses Unreal Engine. Players can explore and interact with the beautiful yet ominous world of Red Creek Valley. Additionally, they can communicate with the dead and see how they died in order to gather clues that help them piece together the truth.
Rogue Legacy is a genealogical rogue-“LITE” where anyone can be a hero. Each time you die, your unique child will succeed you. However, one child might be colorblind, and another might be a dwarf with vertigo.
You can acquire your free copy of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Rogue Legacy from here and here, respectively.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
