Great news for all PC RPG fans, as The Witcher 2 has almost managed to sell 1 million copies – or 940,00 to be more specific – in its first two months. For reference, it took a year for the first part to pass over the 1 million mark so this basically means that The Witcher 2 was a huge success for the company.
In addition, from those sales only 200,000 were digitally distributed copies of the game. So yeah guys, PC retail sales are not dead yet.

CD Projekt RED promised to release the highly anticipated 2.0 version of The Witcher 2 on September 29th, so stay tuned everyone!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
