As you already know, Nvidia showcased CD Projekt RED’s upcoming The Witcher game during its E3 press conference. MaximumPC was able to capture a video that showcased most – if not all – of the new graphical settings that will be supported by The Witcher 3, and you can view the video below. The Witcher 3 will support a new renderer, bloom shafts, aerial perspective fog, volume based translucency, semi volumetric clouds, fur simulation (via Nvidia’s PhysX), flexible water simulation (as well as tessellated water), forward lit soft particles, screen space decals and real-time reflections. Kudos to our reader Sid Spyker for spotting it. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
