Now we should note that most of these mods are basically custom maps. So, in order to be more precise, we are actually looking at 2000 mods and maps.
Some of these mods are pretty amazing and we highly recommend downloading them. For instance, there is a mod that attempts to improve the AI. Another mod introduces better zoom in and out mechanics, and there is also a mod for placing sandbags.
You can find all of the 2000 mods for Command & Conquer Remastered Collection here. Let’s also not forget that EA has released the source code for this remaster, meaning that anyone can download it.
It will be interesting to see whether this initial successful launch of the Command & Conquer Remastered Collection will make any difference at all regarding EA’s stance towards real-time strategy games. It will also be interesting to see whether the publisher will invest on a brand new C&C game.
Stay tuned for more!
