Luke Landwalker has released a new gameplay video for his Star Wars Battlefront III Remaster project. This project attempts to remake Free Radical’s cancelled Battlefront 3 game in Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2005) and contains all the game content from it. However, it appears that this fan remaster will not ever be released.
Now I really should note that there is another Battlefront 3 fan remaster that is going to be released to everyone, called Battlefront 3 Legacy. In fact, there is already a pre-demo for it that you can download and at least get a taste of it.
But anyway, Luke Landwalker has released a new video update for hits project, showing some gameplay footage from it. This project is basically created as portfolio so that Landwalker can land a job at EA or at another game studio.
Contrary to Star Wars Battlefront 3 Legacy, this Battlefront 3 Fan Remaster looks absolutely fantastic. This fan remaster features improved lighting, gorgeous special effects, and looks more polished than Battlefront 3 Legacy. As such, it’s really a shame we’ll never get the chance to play it.
Still, I believe that some Star Wars fans will find this gameplay video interesting so go ahead and take a look!
