Modder ‘jpf_flema’ has just released a new mod for the first Half-Life game. This mod, called Half-Life PlayStation 2 Port, brings the HD models and the new maps that were featured in the game’s Playstation 2 version to the PC version.
This mod also features Spanish and English Audio from the Playstation 2 version.
As the modder noted, this mod only works with the Steam version of Half-Life, and is not compatible with its retail version.
Those interested can download the mod from here.
And while we have better remakes – like Black Mesa – it’s pretty cool witnessing the Playstation 2 assets in full high resolution.
Have fun!
